     Hi,

I trying to configure netview to discover ONLY a list of nodes
     contained within a seed.

I have created a seed file with the host names of the servers (around
50 nodes) I wish to Monitor. I run a CLEAR DATABASES (LIMITED) and
using smit configured netmon to point to the seed file I have created.

When I restart netview all seems find to begin with and it does
discover the nodes I've entered within the seed file. Then after a few
minutes in starts discovering nodes which aren't contain within the
seed file, in fact it seems to be auto discovering the entire network.

My seed file basically contains hostnames for NT Servers, UNIX AIX
     Servers, and routers.

I'm sure I must be overlooking something

     Thanks in advance

     Glen
