Let me clarify my previous message (glad I read it).

I'd like the event-database to be a local SQL database, but
the SNMP-collected database to reside on a remote SQL server.

Is this possible.

Thanks again.

I've got a question in regard to NetView NT, and using SQL...

Is it possible to setup NetView so that the Tess (event) database
resides locally, but the SQL database resides remotely (on some
gigantic Corporate SQL server.

So... instead of the NetView NT server being the SQL-server for
data-collection, I'd want it to act as an SQL-client.

Thank you.
