You should update to the MLM that is on the 5.1.2 CD. There was a fix
for a problem that sounds a lot like yours. Excessive traps at stop/start
time, at any rate.

Hi,all
AIX 4.15, MLM5.03 on both manager/managed node.
NV5.1.1, as manager.

When add a new entry in the MLM Alias Table, then stopping and restarting
the MLM, we are getting a lot of "MLM session down" traps. The midmand
flags
are:
"-i -c /var/adm/smv2/mlm/config/mlm.cnf" . To restart, issue the "smmlm"
command on the managed node without args, wich defaults to use saved flags.
Any idea ?.
