I'm also running NetView 5.1.2 on a standalone 2-way SMP F-50 under AIX 4.3.3.  
The only issue I have run into is that the following environmental variable 
needs to be set:

XENVIRONMENT=/usr/sbin/X11r5/Motif1.2

This variable must also be set this way for Cisco's Essentials and CWSI.
