Hello,
 We have NV 5.1.2 on Solaris 7.
When I try to add a new symbol to NetView(added in /usr/OV/symbols/C and the
bitmaps in /usr/OV/bitmaps/C) I get a core dump(segmentation fault)
Probably the creation of the web GIF symbol is the cause.
The compiling of the symbols is reported OK.
I am using the app-default settings of NetView(in /usr/OV/app-defaults).

The command is started from the CDE of Solaris.
 Are there any (hidden) requirements for the X window system?

Any suggestion is welcome.
