I offer this on an 'as is' basis. If you have any problems with the
deinstallation I would contact the support center for assistance. It would be a
good idea to contact support anyway.
1: Remove NetView from the system
a) . /etc/Tivoli/setup_env.sh
2: Remove installation flags
a) rm -f $BINDIR/.installed/NVS*
b) rm -f $DBDIR/.installed/NVS*
c) cd $BINDIR/../../msg_cat/.installed
d) rm -f NVS*
3: Remove the netview command
a) rm -f /usr/bin/netview
4: Clean up the directory
a) rm -fr /usr/OV/*
Hope this helps

Subject: removing Netview installation
I have a IBM RS6000 running AIX (machine 1) where I installed Tivoli TMR
Server, Netview Server and Nways Manager for AIX.
It was all running perfectly when I made a mistake. I was going to install
a Netview Client on another RS6000 (machine 2) when, instead, I installed
the Netview Client on the same machine that was running Tivoli and Netview
When I tried to uninstall the Netview Client from machine 1, the Netview
Server installation was damaged. Now I can't unistall the Netview Server,
or even reinstall it.
Does anybody have any sugestion before I reinstall everything: Tivoli,
Netview, Nways ...
