When I see Nways, I always want to ask 'Are you running in a
constrained envornment?'. It is possible that the ipmap application
for the map user has died, or is just behind. It is ipmap's job to
update status on the open map. I've seen this die.

Put the maintenance 5.1.2 on; and watch nettl for errors that relate
to the map (after you ignore all the noise Nways adds to it), and
I suspect you should call support.

Hi all,

I am running Netview5.1.1 with Nways 1.2.3 on AIX 4.3.3. I have noticed
lately that my symbol colors do not always change when they should. For
example, an interface goes down, so it turns red, but later, when I know it
is back up, it does not turn back to green. I run pings on the interface
(from Netveiw) and get responses, but the symbol will not change back to
green. I check my daemons, and they are all running.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Matt
