Disabling ACK in Web Interface

Does anyone have experience in disabling / restricting the Acknowledge function
from the web interface in 5.1.1? We would like to provide the web interface to a
larger audience, but do not want to extend the ability to acknowledge outages.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
