Either you create and in-line action to determine time of day and continue (or
not) before the pager node in the ruleset, or you don't use the pager node, but
an action node which runs a script that detemines TOD and then decides whether
to issue the nvapge command or not. Your choice.

Subject: Ruleset Question

I am trying to use NetView rulesets to control when we get paged for certain
events. It is not readily apparent to me how you would specify time of day.
For example, I would like to receive pages for certain events only during
normal 8-5 business hours.

Does anyone have experience with this and could maybe point me in the right
direction?

Environment: NetView 5.1.2, Solaris 2.6, Framework 3.6.1

Thanks in advance,
