Stefano,

Yes, Inventory must be installed on the NetView server in order to install
the TIPN NetView/Inventory Integration Adapter or Profile.

It is not necessary to install an RDBMS on the NetView server but NetView
must have access to the same inventory RIM object that Inventory itself
uses. The NetView/Inventory integration will add tables to the existing
Inventory repository and use that database.
