Well, if it really and truly isn't there, then you cannot get it.  BUt are you
certain that it is not there?  Most agents put their address in the field which
is picked up by trapd as $A.  But if you have tried that, and $A is null, and
the address is not in a trap variable ($1 to  $50) then I don't see how you can
get it at all.

  Hi list.

    My problem is:

      How can I have in a Pop-Up window (started after an event occurrence) the
agent address if
  the data passed with te event don't contain it?

      The IBMDOWN (linkdown Trap)  send the name and value for the affected
interface but no the agent address(name)
  of the sender Agent.

       How shall I do to obtain a Pop-Up window with the name of the agent ?
