Go to /usr/OV/bitmaps/C and do an ls -al looking for the file with the
size of 0. Either delete it, or pick one of the same type and copy it over
it. Or contact Cisco with the name of the file and ask for an uncorrupted one.
This is a known problem.

If I remember right, one of the bitmaps distributed with ciscoworks has an
error in it. Don't remember which one although..someone on this list might
remember.

Error during reading background file
Opened case w/ Cisco and they indicate that CW4.0 is not
supported on NetView v5.1.1. Don't care about support, I'm running the
exact same software on a different box
and don't have this problem.
I'm running following:
AIX 4.2.1
Tivoli 3.6.1
NetView 5.1.1
CiscoWorks 4.0
Like I said, I'm running the exact same software on another
box. I had this same problem initially on that other box, just don't
remember what I did to fix it.
Is there anyway to determine what NetView was trying to do when I got
that error message? It only happens when starting NetView.
Everything appears to be working fine, just want to get rid of the error
message.
