The Tivoli Framework is unaware of MLM, whether the MLM is NT or Unix.
Communication between the Netview server and the MLM is via SNMP. So
you are free to put the MLMs anywhere you wish, inside or outside the TMR.
The box that the MLM is on can be a TMR server, a managed node, or an
endpoint, but it does not have to be any of these.

Hi all, My first time doing a MLM install and have some questions:

1. Can you remotely install MLM for NT ? Can SIS be used for this ?
2. Does the MLM(NT) have to be in the same TMR as the NV(UNIX) server ?
3. Can an MLM be an endpoint in another Poicy Region ?

Any inputs appreciated.

Thanks
