If you look at the online help for the source field, or maybe on the man
page for trapd.conf, you will see a list of values for source. One common
one is d, used by threshold traps from snmpCollect. The letter A is on
the ones that come from other agents, like routers. All of the rest of the
letters go with various netview components. But most of the ones you
see will be N, or netmon. Another place to see the list is on the events
display, under search by criteria.

Hello All.

Are all netview6000 enterprise events generated by netmon polling, i.e. the
source in the event card will ne "Netmon" ??
If not, what agent generates them?
