As I understand it, at the time the NetView doc was written, Framework 3.1.1 or
perhaps 3.2 was the latest level available for Digital Unix. So of course, that
is what the doc says. As long as the NetView Framework patch installs, you
should be fine, and I have no reason to think that it won't.

In reading through the Netview Installation documentation I have a couple
of
concerns.

The Netview documentation mentions that the TME framework version 3.1 with
service pack 1 is a required pre-requisite software.

The version of the framework we have is 3.6with a service pack. This
version makes no reference of supporting the Compaq version of UNIX.

Are there any implications of this:

* do we need to get an earlier version of the framework
*    which version
* is that version Y2K compliant
*    are there licensing issues
* can the earlier version be ordered

Appreciate any feedback on this.
