You turn on forwarding by changing the daemon paramters, done via the Tivoli
desktop or SMIT (AIX). You can change the ovsuf file manually, but it's not
recommended.
Once forwarding is enabled, you specify which events are forwarded within
Event configuration.

Thanks. I looked at the man page for trapd. It says something about
customizing the trapd daemon through the TME desktop. Is this the only way
to
do this? James you said something about configuring this through the Event
Configuration window. Are you referring to the "Forward trap/Do not forward
trap" button? If so, how do you configure what host you want to forward to?
