For an unknown reason my Web Browser shows the error "Could not create
socket. Check Socket/Netview User Interface" when attempting to view
submaps.
The error in the httpd.errors log file is "Unable to open mbox"
mbox is a file in /usr/OV/sockets/dynamic/ this file and it's directory are
both global read+write.
All netview processes appear to be running, i have in fact just shut down
and restarted the netview server. and restarted the web server/map server
from the gui.
All Solaris Netview clients are using an alternate map (not default which
the web server uses).
The default map is set to global read+write.
What is the fault? and why is it happening at what appears to be random
intervals? how can i fix it?
