If I am not mistaken I believe the sfevents is a daemon for your NBBS. Did
you upgrade from a pervious version of NetView? Do you have 2220s in your
network? The NBBS is used to manage them. If I am correct, depending on what
version of NBBS you are running it will not run on NetView V5.1.

You are mistaken. NetView does not now have, nor has it ever had, a
daemon called "sfevents". I don't know what it is, or where you got it
from, but we do not ship it.

I suggest you look at the ovsuf file in /usr/OV/conf and find out what
the full path is to the binary executable which this daemon references.
That may tell you who owns it.

By the way, NetView 5.0 is not supported on Framework 3.6. You should
have installed NetView 5.1
