I don't know if there is any way to help you.  This option you have used is
not documented in our manuals for a reason.  It is not safe.  It rips an
object from the object database without regard to whether it is in topology
or not, no matter the consequences.  We have always advised that you take a
backup of /usr/OV/databases/openview BEFORE doing anything this drastic,
since I know of no way to repair what you have done.

You can format the nettl log (netfmt -f /usr/OV/log/nettl.LOG00) and see
what you can see when you start the GUI, and see if you can repair the
damage from what error messages you can find but I don't have much hope.
You can also call Support and get someone to help you on this, but don't be
surprised if the answer is "re-generate your maps".

Hi all,

I have a great problem, since I have executed the following command on
       AIX-4.3-NetView5.1 commandline:

ovwdbdmap -d <Object ID>

I wanted to delete an object in database!:-((((

Now, I can start netView "only" from remote, with export display, and
others, even normal login, on NetView-Risc is impossible !!!!

What is the matter ?????????? please help..........
