You should be enrolled at the Tivoli customer support web site. That is
www.support.tivoli.com. There you will find Frequently Asked Questions,
electronic access to Support, documentation, and, patches for Framework,
and (come the revolution) patches for Netview, I hope.
No authorization roles are required to use Netview through Tivoli. By
anyone can use it.
In V5.1, if you want authentication to use the web client, you are supposed
enable Netview security. This is kind of a big step for some people, I
I don't know much about web servers, but I'm wondering if maybe you could
force athentication by making some modification to the webserver config
If anyone knows how to do that, maybe they would be willing to share that

Here are some general questions I have:-
1. Here are some web pages I have gathered over time:-
Redbooks : www.rs6000.ibm.com
Y2k Products Checks: wwwy2k.raleigh.ibm.com
IANA References: www.iana.org
eg. Interface Types, and Enterprise OIDs
Freeware & Shareware Archive:
PTFs & BUG Lists: software.services.ibm.com/rs6000
Are there any other good ones that you know of?
2. What are the strict Framework authorisation/role requirements
for using Netview through the Framework Desktop?
3. The web browser interface for Netview V5R1 doen't seem to
request authentication information. Can you change this? If so,
