APAR IX66302 says there was an attempt to fix this in U449573.

If you are not at the current level of code for NetView V4, which is
U459387, I would advise you to get there, and call Support if your problem
persists.  But be aware that V4 is already out of support.

Hi,

I've the following problem:
When I try to read out a SNMP device by the MIB browser, sometimes there
is the warning output in the nv6000.log and the aixterm (tee nv6000.log):

Warning: Select failed; error code 9
Warning: Select failed; error code 9
Warning: Select failed; error code 9
...

I cannot stop this output.
I cannot close the MIB browser window normaly.
When I close the NetView GUI the output doesn't stop.

Our installation:
AIX 4.2.1
NetView 5.0
NWays 1.2.1

Is there a workaround or a PTF?
