You need to run /usr/OV/service/reset_ci then attempt your netmon
modification.

Subject:  Problems with registration files (LRF)





Hi,

I have the following problem:

Working from smit, I've traied to modifiy the netmon parameters or ovwdb
parameters, I couldn't do it and I've got the following message:

UPDATED: /usr/OV/lrf/netmon.lrf
ERROR: Unable to connect to Netview NMS (have you done ovstart) (OVs 1-16)
WARMING: Unable to register /usr/OV/lrf/netmon.lrf


Reading manuals, I saw that it could be problems with sokets files located
in /usr/OV/sockets. I deleted all files, all were regenerated, but the
problem didn't dessapear.

Anybody can help me ?
