Sounds like a problem that was fixed in NetView V5.1.

Try  export LIBPATH=/usr/lpp/X11/lib/R5:$LIBPATH   before you start the GUI
and see if that solves your problem.
If it does, you can add that to the netview startup script before ovw is
started (near the end).

Or you can migrate from NetView 5.0 to 5.1 since you need to do that soon
anyway.

IBM SP AIX 4.3.1
  Netview 5.0 with Framework 3.2
  export DISPLAY to Control workstation of SP

  It works normally, but when I want to close User Interface, the windows
can't be closed.
  What problem ? or it just needs very long time to close windows?
