hi,

The error message "Error during reading background file" is because
there may be a missing corresponding bitmap file.

On NetView 5.0, each bitmap comes in pair (*.p and *.m) files. So, if
either one of the files
is missing, you will get the above error message.

To resolve this: you will need to locate which bitmap file(s) located in
/usr/OV/bitmaps/C
directory that are not in pair.

Look in /usr/OV/bitmaps/C for files of zero length. Delete or move these
files, then shutdown the NV gui, run ovw -fields, the restart your gui.
