This probably means that someone is doing snmp polling of those monitored nodes
and using an
incorrect community string. Probably your management station? Use the
'Options.. SNMP Configuration'
to set the correct communities for those nodes. Just a guess...

Cordially,

Hi, my problem is concerning the file var/tmp/snmpd.log. And it's filling
up that directory on the objects that NV monitor's (the file
var/tmp/snmp.log on the NV station is fine, only the one on the equipment
that NV monitor?s is growing, up to 50 meg's at some point). Those anyone
know what could be causing the problem ? Or how can I stop that from
happening ? Is the Information is this log file important to something ?

Regards
Moe
