We abandoned our StorageTek 9714 and went to a denser format, LTO's. I
have two recommendations, either buy a second 9714 and live with the format
or move onto the next technology.

Hello All,
We are currently using DLT 7000 tape drives on StorageTek 9714 tape
library.
Which is best for us if we want to upgrade library and drives and still
able to read data written on DLT 7000 drives?
thanks in advance,
Librado Pamintuan
