We run our Networker servers on Solaris 8, version 6.1.2. A while ago we
upgraded to 6.1.3 and promptly all our BSD/OS (BSDI) clients failed to
backup. I regret I do not have the specific error messages available.

The BSD/OS clients run the unsupported client software from
ftp://ftp.feral.com/pub/networker/bsdi. This is version 5.1. I suspect this
is the problem.

Fortunately it was possible to downgrade the NetWorker servers back to 6.1.2
without any index database issues. I am not so sure this will be possible
with NetWorker 7.0.

Is anyone backing up BSD/OS clients with Networker server 6.1.3 or 7.0
succesfully?
