Hi,

I think I've seen this behaviour when a backup is performed to a disk staging 
area with multiple streams, but the restore is limited by the number of tapes 
that the backup was stored on.

The Oracle DBA allocated 6 channels for the backup and also 6 channels for the 
recovery.

I see 6 streams in the GUI...but 3 are always waiting on tapes that he active 3 
streams are using.
