Check that your database is up. It will shutdown if space gets low to protect itself. There will be a log stating the databse is being shutdown in nbemm logfile.
It is nbdb_ping and I think it is in db/bin. If it is not up and you have enough space, you can bring it up with nbdb_admin -start.

In my Netbackup windows 2008 R2 environment ,today our backups have stopped running.
No active backup ,neither scheduled nor manual.
Early today ,catalog drive became full and we freed up some space and recycled the NBu services but even after that backups are not starting.
Nbpemreq is running. I also have cancelled the process and then resumed the scheduler but still not working.
No backups.
Please help.
