Yes it does. You have to be at 7.1 version.
Previous versions does not support it.

Does anyone know if NBU for vSphere actually does file-level restores yet on Linux clients? I have heard so much conflicting information on this subject. Some people say it’s not supported, but works. Others say it’s not even possible. Does anyone actually know?
