Subject: [Veritas-bu] Need to increase the bpstart_notify timeout wait time.
All:
Our environment, HP-UX 11-31 currently running one master / media server on NetBackup 6.5.2. We are running mostly unix / Linux backups and a couple windows b/u’s thrown in for good measure.
I’ve got a policy with a start and end notify script that shuts down a database and copies it to another location. I’m getting the following error:
06/13/2011 10:23:44 - Error bpbrm (pid=30501) from client l2020: ERR - Timed out after 300 seconds waiting for bpstart_notify
06/13/2011 10:23:45 - end writing
client timed out waiting for bpstart_notify to complete (74)
Anyone know where the bpstart_notify 300 second timeout is located so I can increase it?
Thanks in advance….
