Ajay,

It looks like there is something wrong in your failover settings.  You
might check the cf.hw_assist.partner.address option and make sure it
has the partner IP address.  If you can't ping the filer that was
taken over something isn't correct.  You can also walk through the
setup command.  It will walk you through the lan connections and
whether they are supposed to takeover for a partner.  Once your taken
over filer pings after the failover you will probably be able to get
your backup running.
