I have Netbackup 7.0.1 installed on Windows 2008 R2 and everything seems ok. 
However when I try to bpdown the servers I recieve a message saying the service 
is "NOT STOPPED". Not sure what ive done wrong, the license is ok, I can create 
a disk storage unit etc etc

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

PS C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\bin> ./bpdown -f -v

Have you tried executing the bpdown command from an elevated command prompt 
(Run AS Administrator)? In Windows 2008, some commands don't work the same 
without the elevated command prompt, even if the logged in user is in an 
administrators group.
