Hi,

It is worth checking these settings on the Master Server.

Host Properties -> Master Servers -> Client Attributes -> Connect
Options and enable "BPCD Connect back: VNETD port" for the affected
clients.

Regards,
 Sumeeth

When we were still doing 5.1 I found it necessary to open both 13724
and
13782 in the firewall. With 6 you only need the former it seems.

The telnet test is a good way to verify you're allowed to connect.
telnet <hostname> <port>

If it is UNIX/Linux hosts try running "lsof -i <port>:" to verify
something is listening on the port you expect.

One issue I saw with the Linux client installer was it checked to see
if
I was running xinetd and if not it assumed (incorrectly) that I was
running inetd and setup an /etc/inetd.conf which was useless. Make
sure you're running either inetd or xinetd on the UNIX/Linux host
before
installing the NBU client there.
