Hi Saran
If this is one Server that is causing the problem, then
it could be corrupt registry.
I have seen this issue before, but for the life of me,
cannot find the article about it. Is there any 3rd party software that prevents
changes to the registry at all?
It does not sound like a NetBackup problem - For
example, if you remove Netbackup or disable the Services, does the same problem
appear?
Any other changes to the Server that may have occurred
? Anything different on this Server, compared to
others?
Simon
Hi Simon,
There is enough free space in C drive.
Nothing shows in logs regarding registry writing errors.
I am making the change with the Domain Admin a/c and there is group
policies in place but there are other servers too and they don't have this
strange problem.
Thanks,
Saran

Anything in the event logs to show problems with writing to the
registry?
Are you making the change with the correct account and no Group
Policies are in force or taking place?
S.
Hi,
I would like to share with all of you a very strange problem with a
windows 2003 server. Whenever the server is rebooted, its netbackup server
registry entries change.
Have anyone faced this kind of problem. Please help.
Thanks,
Saran
