What version of exchange.

For 2003 I use the Recovery Storage Group method because I backup by Store
Then use exmerge to get a mailbox.

In general, what's the trick to backup and then recover an Exchange Message 
Store?

Can it be multi-streamed or must it be single stream?

I understand about the MS-Exchange policy type and that is set.

I also understand that there are preferred ways to do an exchange backup, but 
I'm too new at these Exchange backups to be of any good.

Advice and pointers all accepted.
