Do you have firewall between master and client?

If you telnet from master to client bpcd port and try
to break  connection with CTR+C what happens?

We have a Solaris master server and windows vm client on 5.1

We can telnet, ping, traceroute, getconfig and anything else you can think of 
to each other.  

The problem we are having is when we go to the host properties > clients > 
<clietn>, it takes forever and a day to connect, it should time out, but never 
does.

It does this on both the client and the master.

traceroute is only one hop and comes back instantly as does the telnets and 
pings.

If more information is needed please ask.
