This is what I have so far. If anyone can corroborate it that would be great.

0 = Backup
1 = Archive
2 = Restore
3 = Verify
4 = Duplicate
5 = Import
6 = Catalog_Backup
7 = Vault
8 = Label
9 = Erase
10 = Tape_Request
11 = Clean
12 = Format_Tape
13 = Physical_Inventory
14 = Qualification
15 = Dbbackup # ????????????
16 = Media_Contents
17 = Image delete
18 = Live update

no, those are policy types. 0=standard, etc. he wants the job type, 2nd field in bpdbjobs output with either most_columns or all_columns. simon's entsupport response showed values from 0-14:

field 2 (jobtype)
0=backup, 1=archive, 2=restore, 3=verify, 4=duplicate, 5=import, 6=catalog backup, 7=vault, 8=label, 9=erase, 10=tape request, 11=clean, 12=format tape, 13=physical inventory, 14=qualification

17 is image cleanup. i have a image cleanup job showing in the gui and bpdbjobs (most_columns) data is:

i found one job type 16 from a couple weeks ago (that was also terminated for some reason), so i can't see it in the gui any longer to see what type of job it was. the data is (using -all_columns):
