As per my technote earlier, assigned volumes should not be
moved and cannot. Unless you get Symantec Professional Services
in.
Refer to my earlier email. duplicate the tape so that the new
tape is written to the new pool ??
Simon
I am looking all tapes that assigned and not empty, I know can easily
move blank or empty tapes between volumes. Anything can be done at the EMM
database level using cli commands?

You can move only free tapes. If the tapes are free then you can
select all tapes from the GUI and select right click->change.
If your tapes are not empty then you have to duplicate the backups
to new tapes.
Hello Folks,
I need to re-assign all existing media from the existing
volume pool to another, then I want to delete the old pool.
Do you know
a command and possible script how I can do it?
Thank
you, Boris
