I get the status 800 message
when the disk volume is having issues.
Make sure you can open the disk
volume in explorer.
Run Chkdsk F: /f
Check Security on the F: (NetBackup
service account should have full control)
If this is a raid volume run a
bit level synch / consistency check
If you are writing to F:\ (not a
folder) make sure the “This directory can exist in the root file system”
box is checked in the dssu.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Incremental Backups.
Hello All,
This is what I am trying to do,
I am trying to set up a storage unit to hold my incremental backups. When I try
to run a incremental job and point the job to the my F: drive in my local
backup server. It displays this messages.
2/22/2010 4:37:09 PM - Error
nbjm(pid=3080) NBU status: 800, EMM status: Disk volume is
down
resource request failed(800)
The nbjm process was unable to
get the required resources for a job. An EMM reason string that appears in the
Activity Monitor job details display and in the nbjm debug log accompanies this
status code. The EMM reason string identifies the reason for the failed
resource request.
When I look at the log it
displays the volume incrementalbackup: Interanl 16 marked down, server server
servenames-{gsp-2060026.
Any ideas?
Thank you,

Hello All,
Anyone has seeing any issues where the incremental backups
are not going to disk? I am running WIN2K3 and Netbackup 6.5.
Thank you,
