I used these folks years ago to get data
off a corrupt hard drive and send it to me on tape. Looking at their site
today and a few times in the past when the question has come up indicates they
still do this kind of work though I’ve not had the need in a long time.
The site has a fair amount of detail on formats and softwares they work with.

You don't say where you are looking for this service. I used these
folks in Melbourne, Australia to recover some data off
an old DLT tape that was backed up with Arcserve. The data was delivered to me
on a series of DVDs. The service provided was exactly as described, and the
cost was reasonable.

as a minimum. A similar thing can apply for legacy Exchange backups from
versions such as 2000 and even 5.5.
Anyone know any companies still around that offer a service such as this?
