I replaced the robot, and changed the magazines with all the tapes over into
the new robot, but when i try to inventory, it will not allow me to do so:
Insert media failed: barcode not unique in database (36).
i tried using tpautoconf, but the arguments -replace_drive/replace_robot are
unknown. maybe i just need help using those arguments or need to use something
different for netbackup to know i'm replacing the robot?
i'm new to netbackup and did not set it up originally. but i read in a forum to
not install the windows driver for the robot, to let netbackup do that, is that
correct?
last thing is i'll have to manually change the media id, because even though
it's the same media that was in the last robot... 4/16 tapes had unique media
id's not made by the media ID generation rules.
Thanks, hope you all can help me :)
