Hi ibakes,

This seems like an underlying file/hardware issue. Have you looked at
the event/system logs and see if there is any hardware issues. Also run
a chkdsk on the data volume.
To confirm this, turn up logging and create the bpkar directory in the
logs directory and create the empty file  
/usr/openv/netbackup/bpbkar_path_tr ( For UNIX ) Program
Files\Vertias\Netbackup\bpbkar_path_tr for windows

This generates a lot of data so once the problem is understood remove
the bpbkar_path_tr and remove the bpkar directory

Many thanks for the replys, the thing is i cant figure out why this has
just started to happen....

this week,  the backup failed at 250gb again seems to be the same spot
each week with the error code 13.

i have had a look around and found info on using Microsoft VSS, i am not
worried about enabling this but would like to know why this has started
to happen?

Also had a popup with Opcacta has suddenly quit message........
