Evening
Found a problem, which I got a work around on, but wondered if Symantec can validate this for me....
For some reason, some of the Win2k3 Servers volume are filling up. Investigation showed it was the "System Volume Information" Folder that was the culprit.
As I know this folder contains Shadow Copy info (VSS), I went to check if Shadow Copies was running, and found it was all disabled.
I believe NetBackup could be the culprit here.
To get around the problem, I turn on shadow copy for a 300mb limit. This purges out the System Volume Information folder.
But any ideas why it is doing it?
Backups configured on the client to use VSS and rather than abort on error, set to disable snapshot and continue.
Any feedback would be good.
Thanks
Regards
Simon
