i have an old 5.0mp6 environment that was set for an upgrade in a few weeks.  
we noticed that backups are running fine but we can't restore from any backups 
from any media server.  i keep getting this error:

Error bptm(pid=3336) tapemark or blank tape encountered reading media header, 
drive index 0

i'm not using the block_size file on any media servers (windows).  we're using 
9940B drives.  

i'm wondering if there's some option or config that was made on the master 
server that is causing this.  i appreciate any help.
