[Veritas-bu] NDMP Restores with a twist

Fellow Netbackup and NDMP guru’s , I am having a restore issue with NDMP and wanted to see If anyone has seen this… I recently moved my NDMP infrastructure from serverA to serverB. Everything is running fine. The serverA machine is the Master/Media server and serverB is a plain old Media Server. The NDMP drives are all defined on serverB. When I try and run a restore of NDMP data that was created on serverA it still tries to mount the tape on serverA where there are no NDMP drives defined. How do I fix this?? I have tried the FORCE_RESTORE_MEDIA_SERVER option in serverA’s bp.conf file and this didn’t work. Symantec Support suggested that I try moving the media from serverA to serverB but the media is owned by filerC. Any thoughts ???? Thanks in advance ………
