If you want to do it to a list of clients remotely you can easily script
reg.exe to push the change out.  I think I wrote a sample script on this
list a few months ago if you want to search and find it.

I use 1024k for the communication buffer size for Windows Clients and 
typically see 70-100MiB/s on fileserver (filesystem) backups to LTO-4 
media.  If I cannot find out how to do it remotely, I will fall back to
this
method, this seems feasible, thanks!
