Open BackupExec 12.5 console.
Tool -> “Install Options and License Keys on this Media server …” you can enter your key there.

Hey guys
I don't normally work with Backup Exec so I am not sure how to enter a recently purchased serial number into an evaluation copy of Backup Exec 12.x to make it a licensed copy without removing any of the existing settings? It attempts to re-install and
not sure if this is going to overwrite the settings. Any assistance would be appreciated, thanks.
