Those suggestions ONLY work on the JAVA console.
If you are using the windows Remote Admin Console:
You have to add each one in what you say as "ad hoc manner'.
They are in a registry entry.
Now if you look on the help site I read a doc once that told you where
that is and how to edit it (they you could add them all in alpha order).

Create a policy and put the clients in the client list. I would do this
for all the retired clients for which I still retained data on tape, so
I had a pull down list for clients to restore from and to. The policy
doesn't need to have any schedules or file selections.
