Hello Rodrigo,

 

SAN Client installation just needs a regular NetBackup install. No special installation is required for the core NetBackup Fibre Transport components. The components are installed when you install NetBackup Media Servers and Clients. The feature needs a SAN Client license on the Master and EMM servers.

 

There are a few very simple configuration steps required to run Fibre Transport services and Media servers and Clients.

It provides some information on performance considerations and best practices when deploying the SAN Client. The document is intended to provide the necessary information to help take full advantage of this feature.

The requirements are VERY specific. I'm wondering if anybody out there has managed to configure it successfully? From the responses so far, seems not....
